Homeschooling can be intimidating for a lot of parents. However, with more and more amazing resources at our fingertips, it can be a simple process and pleasant - depending on how open you and your kiddos are to schooling from home.
While my husband was still active duty military, we were moving to another state for a short period of time and I didn’t want to enroll my kiddos in a school for only a few months, so i decided to homeschool. I was nervous and scared and doubtful it would be a pleasant experience. We were moving into base housing with hardly any space to even set up a homeschool station. I took to Pinterest to come up with ideas on ways to use the space we had and make it a great place to learn! I decided to use a corner of our kitchen to create a space to house all of our homeschooling accouterment.
I love how it turned out and my kiddos loved having their own little space to work and keep all their supplies. We did have plenty of days that they decided to mix things up and do their work in other rooms of the house but it was nice to have a home base to keep all things homeschool instead of scattered all over the house.
