If you haven't heard of the talented Alaska-based photographer Shalem Mathew, believe me, you soon will. He specializes in senior portraits, conceptual engagement shoots, local and destination weddings. Shalem has also been published in national and international trade magazines for his conceptual fashion photography and has been commissioned by brands such as Sam Villa, L'Oreal and Cosmo Girl Magazine. Along with Mitch Kitter of PropagandaAK, Shalem co-owns Treft.Punkt Studios - a creative studio specializing in high end portraits located in downtown Anchorage.
Today I am showcasing Shalem's stunning maternity session featuring new parents Brandon and Brenda Lester. With daddy an Anchorage firefighter and mommy owner and designer at Gracie Beaucoup, I can already see an adorable fireman themed 1st birthday party planned and designed to perfection. Let me jus tell you that this maternity session is just that, PERFECTION! Shalem beautifully captured the excitement and love that Brandon and Brenda have for one another and their baby boy on the way.
