Today I want to share with you this beautiful shabby chic newborn session, wonderfully captured by the amazing husband and wife team from Iron & Lace Photography! Based out of Auburn, Georgia,  Zach and Kelsee pride themselves on finding creative ways to showcase their client's unique personality, style and interests. When it came time for baby Carley's photography session, Kelsee used the natural elements of this wonderful outdoor location to set the stage for an adorable rustic and shabby chic theme. In keeping with this fanciful theme, Kelsee added a fantastic rustic vintage wheel barrel fit for a tiny princess and a sweet little planter creating a flower garden inspired by the season. To highlight baby Carley's free-spirited nature, Kelsee included an old suitcase for this precious "traveling girl to explore it all." There is something magical about using natural elements combined with beautiful vintage pieces that just enhance the natural beauty of a client, producing authentic, meaningful and timeless keepsakes. These charming photos of newborn Carley will definitely stand the test of time and will always be fawned upon by us! ;)

Harper's Pink Ombre 1st Birthday Party By Jessica From Little BabyGarvin

By now you all know that I am a HUGE fan of Pinterest. It is my go-to place when I am in need of decor and party theme inspiration, home organization and diy motivation. When we found out I was pregnant with our daughter McKenzie, my Pinterest frenzy turned up a notch as I entered the world of "Baby". From maternity trends to baby's 1st birthday, I was caught up in a plethora of online baby inspirations that I couldn't seem to get enough of.  The "pin" that I first stumbled upon and still absolutely adore is the "chalkboard pregnancy tracker" by beautiful mommy-to-be Jessica Garvin from Little Baby Garvin. You all know the pin(s) that I'm referring to. The gorgeous brunette mommy who stood beside an ornate full length framed chalkboard with a beautifully artistic hand-written chalk description of her baby's weekly development during her pregnancy. Jessica's unique and creative chalkboard pregnancy tracker has inspired so many women to go beyond just reading about their pregnancy to journaling their progression in a way that has them showcasing their creative side. Along with Jessica's adorable pregnancy countdown, she also shares her love for family, food, festivities and of course her fantastic chalkboard how-to on her blog Little Baby Garvin. While Jessica's bump progression continues to be a huge hit on Pinterest,  Baby Harper Garvin has since turned one and had a beautiful birthday party that was as equally creative and inspiring. Jessica designed and planned a perfectly pink ombre and gold soiree to celebrate Harper's one year milestone and while the birthday girl wore an amazing pink tutu with a gold accented onsie and crown, a pink ombre balloon backdrop and a pink ombre cake(baked by Jessica) set the stage for a fanciful affair fit for a pretty in pink princess!
