Be sure to visit All Things Lovely for more details about Birch Baby Boutique and their special offer!
If you are a Pinterest fanatic, like myself, you have probably noticed that Chalkboards, Chalkboard Art and Fonts are a hot trend right now in home and party decor. Well how about we take the chalkboard fun on the road?!  This portable Chalkboard Mat from Birch Baby Boutique is a wonderful way to entertain your little when you are out and about!  It has a roll up feature that allows for easy handling and storage in any backpack, travel or diaper bag. It comes equipped with an attached elastic velcro closure, as well as an attachable eraser and chalk holder allowing everything to stay in one place when not in use. .
McKenzie is now 13 months and is getting the hang of putting pen to paper. When we received this little dandy, I couldn't wait to introduce her to the wonderful world of chalkboard art! After I drew a few shapes, she followed my lead without hesitation and had so much fun marking dots and scribbles. With a long road-trip ahead of us next week, we will definitely have this handy for the car-ride and restaurant stops!
BBB also offers matching bibs and burp cloths!
McKenzie is at the age where she is not particularly careful with anything she decides is a toy, so it's nice to be able to give her something that she can't break or tear up. These mats are soft,  light weight, and extremely durable!
Birch Baby Boutique offers a variety of colors and prints to suit your little girl or boy's style! Custom themes are also available upon request! With the holiday season upon us, be sure to take advantage of the great deal on All Things Lovely Daily Deals, as these would make for perfect stocking stuffers!!

Vintage Hunting Nursery Designed By Ashley from Southern Farmhouse Designs

With all the frills and sparkles that have graced the pages of Fawn lately, I thought we needed a little inspirational change. So, today I am sharing a radiantly rustic nursery design that is perfectly fit for a mini outdoorsman! Mommy blogger, Ashley from Southern Farmhouse Designs,  loves to hunt and fish along with her husband and thought it was only fitting to incorporate their love of outdoors into their baby boy's nursery. The theme is "Vintage Hunting"! Is that not the cutest theme you've ever heard for a baby boy's room? With the help of her mother, Ashley collected vintage pieces that added the perfect heirloom feel and wonderfully complimented the rustic outdoor components of the space. With the exception of the crib, rocking chair, antler mounts and barn wood, everything came from First  Monday Canton Trade Days and garage sales!! I just love it when I run across these creatively talented mamas that take the old and blend it perfectly with the new. This charming rugged retreat is filled to the rim with rustic and vintage goodies that are arranged and displayed so beautifully, you almost think you are looking inside the pages of a Restoration Hardware Magazine! I think this is one of those nurseries that I will definitely have to re-visit if we are so wonderfully blessed with a baby boy in the future. Needless to say, I'm In Love With This Nursery!

McKenzie's One Year Birthday Celebration By Misty Doyle Photography -Part Two (Cake Smash)

As I promised, here is McKenzie's One Year Birthday Celebration, Part Deaux - THE CAKE SMASH! Part One can be found here, and again, I can not say enough about our Gorgeous vintage Set-Up at Southern Jeweled and the beautiful capture by the talented, Misty Doyle Photography

Before McKenzie had her first taste of cake, she had to make a few phone calls to let everyone know what was about to go down. It was also a wonderful way for us to help her adjust to her new position on the beautiful blanket that Southern Jeweled provided. After she got comfortable with her new surroundings on the floor and her calls were made, her sweet little cake arrived! As she is with everything that is placed in front of her, McKenzie studied the delectable delight in front of her for a few minutes. She then lightly touched and poked, eventually scraping a tiny bit of icing off the top and gently placing it on her tongue. We were all waiting for her to take a nose dive straight through the center!! Nope, not my daughter, she took her time delicately digging and savoring each taste. I'm so glad that she doesn't take after me when it comes dessert time :/

McKenzie's cake tuned out to be so yummy,  a furry little friend decided to join in on the cake tasting too. Little Kitty had her belly laughing with excitement and it made for the sweetest photos. Needless to say, after the kitty nibbled a few bites, we decided that was a wrap and enjoyed watching Kenzie crawl around after her new found friend for the rest of the session.

And That's All Folks!! We couldn't be happier with this beautiful 1st birthday celebration. These photos will be so cherished for years to come! Our McKenzie was ONE happy birthday-girl! :)
