Ella's Eclectic Boho Chic Big Girl Room by Darlings & Daydreams

Hi Friends!

I am so excited to showcase our very first Big Girl Room! I love sharing all things baby, including nursery inspiration, however, their room design does not have to stop there! As your babe begins to grow their space also begins to transform and that can be just as exciting!

Today, I am sharing a sweet Big Girl's Room that is not at all predictable! Full of whimsy and eclectic accents, this charming space is rich with color and fun! Styled by talented mom Kara via her services at Darlings & Daydreams, she did not miss a beat with her incredible eye for pairing classic and modern with home-made! The silk banner, window treatments & weaves were all hand-made with love by Kara herself from her Needle & Knot Collection! Kara is truly talented in more ways than one!

Eclectic Elegance: Nursery For Baby Rook - Design By Rylin Crane

Hi Friends! Today is a special Nursery Feature that I have been on pins and needles, excited to share! This nursery belongs to a sweet baby girl that we all are looking forward to meeting next month! Her beautiful and talented mommy is my good friend Rylin Crane. Rylin is a master artist and has an eye for incredible design! She also helps run her parent's gorgeous downtown furniture, accessories & original art store called Art & Soul! Rylin was one of the first mom's I met after moving here 3 years ago. She is our church family pastor's wife and a wonderful mom to two adorable boys! With two boys under her belt, you can imagine her excitement when she found out they were expecting a baby girl. She was finally able to exercise the "pink" side of her creativity when it came time to design her baby girl's nursery!

I love Rylin's style. I like to call her interior design style "Eclectic Elegance". She is not afraid to blend high-end designer items with vintage refurbished pieces creating a warm yet refined space that is inviting and filled with charm! It is no surprise that Rylin effortlessly created the perfect sanctuary for baby Rook providing a calm, cozy and peaceful place for her to call her own! I am so in love with the sweet simplicity of this space and the timeless fresh look that it exudes.  It will not be long until we get to see those precious baby photos of Rook enjoying her little oasis at home and I can't wait!

Baby Willow's Eclectic Chic Nursery Design By Kate & Kuby

Happy Friday Friends! Oh do I have a dandy of a nursery to help start your weekend off on an eclectic chic foot! First off I have to share with you the most exciting side note about this nursery. Aside from it being a stunning melting pot of design styles,  this universal baby oasis cost fellow mommy blogger and photographer Kate from Kate and Kuby a little over $100 to put together for her baby girl, Willow!  Genius is what comes to mind when I see an "out-of-the-norm" decor style that was literally thrown together with different unique pieces that hold a sentimental value or happened to catch the eye at a particular moment. Though each piece represents a totally different era and/or style, they are in keeping with the design's over all unity. Somehow Kate was able to pull it all together and have it all actually make sense. She pulled several different styles and meshed them together creating a warm and inviting space without the feeling of being overwhelmed. From the DIY "W" accessory holder made out of chicken wire to the insanely gorgeous wall tapestry that was hand-woven by Kate, every detail makes this pace so special and timeless.  Get ready to be blown away as you browse through a nursery design that, in my opinion, is a true work-of-art!

Harry's Vintage Eclectic Nursery By Christy Nicole Photography

It's Friday! Woohoo! Nothing like a good Friday Nursery Inspiration to help get your creative juices flowing for your soon-to-be or newborn's nursery, right? Well today I have a charming vintage eclectic nursery with a "traveled/wordly" theme.  The precious toddler that calls this his play and sleeping quarters is baby Harry and he is actually on the road to becoming a world traveler as his daddy is a U.S Air Force Pilot calling Germany their home these days. Earlier this week, I introduced you to this sweet family and today we are taking a peek inside baby Harry's delightful vintage eclectic abode. As part of their "Welcome Home" lifestyle session, talented photographer Christy Nicole followed the family playtime into Harry's room and captured the details and decor so beautifully as well as how wonderfully it functions for this adorable little toddler who loves to explore!

By combining pieces found at a flea market, refurbished craigslist purchase along with handmade elements and a few store bought items, this space is a beautiful collection of old and new.  For a more detailed list of item info and links, visit Harry's Room Reveal on Mallory's blog R.Simple Life blog.  For now, let's step inside Harry's toddler oasis as he explores the beautifully designed space around him with his adoring parents leading the way!
